Road Race 2025
120 participants took part in the Inter House Road Race held on the 14th of February 2025.
Team results are as follows.
First Place – Desaram House, Second Place – Keble House,
Third Place – Hulugalla House, Fourth Place – Hayman House
Badminton
“Under 11 Badminton Doubles Team Championship 2024” organized by the Sri Lanka Schools Badminton Association, was held at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium, Colombo. Our team performed remarkably well and became Champions in the ‘B’ Division.
Wushu
Wushu Team performed well at 2nd Junior Nationals Meet, 48th National Sports Festival Meet and All Island National School Games, organizes by Sri Lanka Wushu Federation, Ministry of Sports and Ministry of Education respectively held last year and was able to achieve number of places in National, Inter School and Provincial Level including runners up in Sanda (Chinese Kick Boxing) 70 Kg. category.
Re - Launching of St. John Ambulance Brigade
The St. John Ambulance Brigade was re-launched in the College with a Training programme and Exam conducted on the 1st and 2nd of February 2025 under the leadership of Mr. Upul Singhe Pathirana.
Annual Prize Giving 2024
The Annual Prize Giving 2024 was held on the 20th of January 2025. Dr. Vijith Vidyabhushana MBBS(Col)MS(Col) MRCOG(UK) Consultant obstetrician and gynecologist and a distinguished Old Boy of the College and Mrs. Pramishka Vidyabhushana graced the occasion as the Chief Guests.
Founders' Day 2025
The 83rd Founder’s Day 2025 Holy Eucharist Service was celebrated by Revd. Wilson Gnanadass, the Vicar of the Church of the Ascension Bandarawela.
Christmas Carols 2024
Service of Nine Lessons & Carols was held with a large gathering on the 1st of December 2024 in the Keble Memorial Hall. Ven. Charles David, Archdeacon of Nuwara Eliya delivered the Christmas message.
Commerce Day 2024
Commerce Day 2024 was held on the 18th of October 2024 in the Keble Memorial Hall. Mr. Chinthaka Laksiri Kumara, Manager, DFCC Bank,Welimada, Mr. Amila Nandasiri, Deputy Director Planning, Mr. H.M.S.T. Sampath, Director Ministry of Education of the Uva Provincial Council were guest lecturers during the programme. Other schools from Bandarawela were also invited.
Vani Vizha - 2024
Vani Vizha 2024 was held on the 19th of October 2024 in the Keble Memorial Hall. Mr. M. Chandirakumar, Former Sectional Head of S.Thomas’College, Bandarawela, and Mrs. Chandirakumar graced the occasion as Chief Guests.
English Day - 2024
English Day 2024 was held on the 22nd of October 2024 in the Keble Memorial Hall. Mr. Homas Benjamin Jeganathan, Chief Academic Officer, AI Campus, Colombo graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
