Touchless face recognition attendance system for STC, Bandarawela

The staff of S. Thomas’ College, Bandarawela commenced using a touchless face recognition attendance system on November 22nd, 2021.  The new, advanced 3D surface imaging technique with 3D Structured Facial Recognition can detect staff members with their face masks.  This device has also the ability to recognise the palm of each staff member and was introduced so as to replace the unsafe fingerprint scanner.
